Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Sign

SMT hires employees across the US and into Canada. We use Adobe Sign to send the employment agreements and independent contracts along with our PIA to about 150 people per year. Once the agreement is signed, we send out all new hire paperwork. Our legal department and contracts department also utilize Adobe Sign. We would not survive without it.

SMT acquired a company out of California, and this company utilized express mail to send out these mentioned agreements and and express mailed the agreements back to the office. The cost savings for adding Adobe Sign has been HUGE!
  • The library of documents
  • Shared Libraries among users
  • Easy set up of forms to be filled and signed.
  • Documents only stay in the system for 30 days
  • Having issues setting up other account users
  • Removing old items in the library.
  • Wish we could have admin type users - they don't make changes but just send out docs for signature
  • Reduced time to get Employment Agreements signed and employees to working
  • Reduced the express mailing costs
  • Helped better track the stages of employment agreements and hiring
We haven't utilized the support system very much. The last effort to get another user set up was frustrating since we only had service chats available.
I give the usability a 9 since there is always room to improve. I may not be able to think of the improvement areas but I'm sure someone else can. I do wish I could store signed documents longer or permanently.
In reference to our industry, I think the contracts area is the key. We have contracts/agreements with our clients and it would be great if we can get revisions signed quickly prior to add ons (which happen very frequently). This would add a stronger support to the overall business

Both products allow you to create a fillable form and send the form out for signature. Acrobat did not originally set up to do these features. But we share the Adobe Sign across the HR Dept for sending out new hire forms.
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Adobe Sign is very appropriate for our legal team for sending out client contracts for signature. Our legal department also has several templates that would be great in Adobe sign. In addition, we have a contracts manager at another division that would benefit from Adobe Sign.
