Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Creative Cloud Express (formerly Adobe Spark)

It is being used mostly by content creators across our sister stations. I am the only one that uses it on the Sales/Digital Side. It is great to use for quick graphics and videos that I need to make for our social media and website. I also use it to create web banner ads as well as Facebook ads.
  • There is a great design asset library, including free photos, icons, and illustration graphics.
  • Great for keeping your brand consistent across documents.
  • Great crowdsourced templates to choose from for quick unique content creation!
  • Great new photo editing tools to quickly customize a photo.
  • The tool panels unnecessarily cover the workspace at times.
  • The text shapes haven't really changed since I started using it, but it's still useful with the icons tab.
  • The structure of the workspace changes a lot, sometimes without notice. It affects the UX sometimes, but it's normally somewhat easy to adjust to.
  • The UX has changed a lot since I began using it.
  • Sometimes it will just not load (it is a web browser based program)
  • Certain aspects are only available in the app version
  • Not great for collaboration. It lacks in-app commenting or real-time collaboration editing tools.

Adobe Creative Cloud Express is well suited for social media and website/ blog use. Its branding tools are great for continuity across documents that are quick and easy to implement. They just recently added photo editing tools that can produce some really great graphics. It's mostly for quick and easy graphic creation, as well as videos. Adobe Creative Cloud Express could also be used to create more complex projects, but you may reach a few limitations within the tools, especially with video editing.

Using Adobe Creative Cloud Express (formerly Adobe Spark)

They both have great ease of use. More recently, Adobe changed something in its interface that created a small but consistently aggravating inconvenience, so Canva may be better in that aspect. The platform for Canva has great UX in my opinion. Adobe Creative Cloud Express is great for creating quick graphics and short videos and webpage designs. It comes in an app form for tablets and phones, as well as a desktop version that can be accessed through a web browser. It's a lot quicker to use than Adobe PhotoShop or Adobe Illustrator CC, and the finished documents are normally of great quality. It is mostly great for making social posts, banner/Facebook ads, and presentation backgrounds.
