Overall Satisfaction with ADP Vantage HCM

We implemented all 7 SaaS/Hosted modules:
  • Recruiting Management
  • Core HR
  • Time
  • Benefits
  • Learning Management
  • Compensation Management
  • Performance Management.
It is implemented enterprise-wide. It replaced multiple on-premises systems including several custom developed client/server apps, hosted recruiting web apps, and Oracle PeopleSoft.

  • The 7 modules are not fully integrated as advertised; they function somewhat independently of each other. This is a serious immaturity in the offering.
  • The implementation project management experience was poor.
  • Some modules require different compatibility tech specs (different versions of browsers and java browser plugins) as if the product/development teams are not communicating and coordinating releases.
  • They have made changes to our production instance on more than one occasion, affecting hundreds of users without notifying us.
  • Negative: we are still in the crisis of getting ADP modules full implemented
Oracle and SAP were too expensive. Workday was too new. However, ADP continues to be a bad experience for our business.
Before you buy specific modules, I recommend forcing a full demonstration of user data from recruiting to hiring to working and time off to payment to termination. I also recommend insisting on a full implementation project plan before you decide to implement.
