Overall Satisfaction with ADP Vantage HCM

We are currently in the process of implementing Vantage. It will support payroll, benefits, and HR. It will provide Employee Self Service, Reporting features for Managers and historical information for employees that our current HRIS does not offer. We are able to align pay cards, HSA and Commuter benfeits more than we have in the past. All of our programs were disjointed, and this provides for a seamless transition of data to the necessary parties. We will also be reducing paper applications and using the Recruiting Management module as our primary means of selecting potential candidates.
  • Allows employers to build in necessary workflows.
  • Allows employers to customize communciation efforts, branding of the site, home page, etc.
  • ADPR (ADP Reporting) is a great feature that many managers will benefit from.
  • The Analytics tool is great. It provides quick access to helpful metrics.
  • The Payroll function is incredibly cumbersome. File numbers are an outdated practice and are confusing to users.
  • The Recruiting Management function is based on a 100% online applicant base. If a company accepts paper applications at all, their process provides no flexibility.
  • There is a character maximum of employee names. That is limiting to those of many cultures who have names beyond 32 characters.
  • Quicker benefit enrollment information (census, deductions, termination notices to vendors, etc.)
  • Compliance for Tax Credit Services, background checks, etc. using the Recruiting Management module.
  • Employee Self Service provides more time for managers as they will no longer be required to update individual employee information.
  • Integrates the Commuter benefits program, where an external vendor was used before.
  • Look at the overall complexity of your payroll process. If there are multiple FEINs (companies), there will be a significant amount of setup.
  • What is your distribution for your printed paystubs? Vantage struggles with mailing paystubs to multiple locations.
  • How many of your applications are accepted online?
  • How many vendors external to ADP will you continue to partner with?
