Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We have two people trained on the payroll processing side of WFN and rolled out the benefit portion during Open Enrollment this past fall to all of our employees. We are currently using the ACA program to administer that process. We are implementing Carrier Connections right now and will be adding Performance Management in the Spring/Summer. Using WFN has allowed us to start using one database for employee information and we are hoping to automate more aspects as we become familiar with the system.
Pros
- Provides one-stop navigation for managers and administration to locate needed information on employees.
- Allows employees to access their personal demographic information, pay history, and benefit elections.
Cons
- The biggest area for improvement continues to be the separation of duties based on the modules used. Specialists in Payroll are separate from those in Benefit Administration, ACA Compliance, Carrier Connections, etc.
- Although issues are normally resolved, getting a different person on the phone every time Client Services is called can be very annoying, especially when the problem has to be communicated over and over again.
- Only able to view documents saved from Windows Explorer. Other browsers allow me to select Employee Documents, but I am not able to see the document list or view the individual documents.
- Sorry, no concrete numbers to report. But I am continuing to find more and more areas of the system I can populate to give employees and managers instant access to employee information. Since several of our employees travel (and many go overseas), the web-based system will eventually give them 24/7 access to their personal information and those they manage.
We selected ADP's system over the Kronos product because of the ability to grow our database with ADP. Kronos provided the systems we needed at the time, but we were not sure about the ability to add on more and more modules as needed.
