Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is used as our human capital management system. It is used across our entire organization. We have it integrated into our GLs for use in accounting, and it is our system of record for most everything related to our people. We use recruiting, performance management, payroll, benefits management, and E-time.

Pros

  • Single sign-on requires only one password.
  • Basic reports are relatively easy to run.

Cons

  • There is no test environment to test functions before rolling them out.
  • If you want any in-depth reporting, you have to call so they can make derived fields.
  • Not having a testing environment creates a negative impact on HR. We can't test things, so if something rolls out incorrectly, we end up looking bad.
  • Productivity is wasted when you need support and the hold times are very long.
We have grown quite a bit since we started using ADP Workforce Now. It has been able to keep up with the demands of a steadily growing company. Also, each year we are changing and adding additional GLs and departments, and it keeps things flowing well.
  • Kelly Benefits and Associates
  • Internal Programs
We have file feeds that are outgoing to our benefits administrator and our 401K administrator. We have incoming and outgoing integrations with our internal proprietary applications and systems.
We have evaluated Workday, UltiPro, and Ceridian because we are hoping to make a change in the future to a more user-friendly system.
ADP Workforce Now is very well suited for basic human capital management. The basic functionality of the system works and is intuitive enough to make it easy to use. We use E-Time for timekeeping, and it is not intuitive or easy to use, the timekeeping within ADP Workforce Now may be easier, but I am not familiar with that. Modules that are more involved like benefits and performance management do not have a testing environment (with the exception of open enrollment) so, you have no way to test self-service functions without making them live. This is the biggest problem that I have with the system: you have to roll something out before you have had a chance to work out any issues.
