Overall Satisfaction with Ahrefs

Ahrefs is used as one of our tools to optimize SEO. Our marketing team is using it quite heavily, especially to learn from competitors, work on backlinks and identify the most relevant keywords we should rank for.
  • Learn from competitors: How do they perform? Which keyword could you also rank for? Which backlinks might be easy to get?
  • Track your ranking progress very easily
  • Finding new keywords with strong traffic and a good fit in general
  • It is on the more expensive end of tools we compared
  • The feature set on content discovery and optimization should be strengthened
  • Improvement of overall page SEO
  • More website traffic and sales
  • Faster and more effective discovery of new keywords and content ideas

Ahrefs is well suited if you are a beginner to SEO as it is intuitive. It is also a good fit for advanced uses though thanks to a strong feature set. It helps you to optimize your general SEO very well and discover ideas for new keywords you want to rank for. It is less good if you want to optimize specific content pieces.
