Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense
Makes searching SEC filings, research, and transcripts very easy. Export similar tables function very helpful for quickly building models. It’s replaced my use of Bloomberg and capital IQ for many research use cases. It also is helpful for screening for companies impacted by various macro and industry thematic changes. I would strongly recommend to any institutional investment firm that does fundamental research involving reading company sec filings.

- Redline sec filing changes.
- Quickly look through transcripts.
- Table stitching functionality that Sentieo has is helpful.
- Better ability to extract from footnotes that include numbers consistently in every filing but aren’t in table form.
- Better indexing of non-sec international filings for things like export similar tables.
- Time savings.
- Competitive commentary insights.
- Value chain analysis.
If you could include searches of legal filings related to corporate litigation, that would be very interesting…maybe a partnership with Casetext, which has that data.
