Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

It's being used by consultants on an as-needed basis, when we are analyzing datasets from clients that are too large for Excel. It's also particularly useful for cross-tabbing and combining several disparate datasets from clients. It allows for a quicker way for consultants to analyze data themselves without outsourcing it.

Alteryx is basically a packaged version of Excel, which potentially less functionality but much 1) easier to learn and 2) greater power to process larger datasets.

You can figure out how to use it and start analyzing within minutes, which is probably one of the most unique aspects of this tool.
Have not had to experience support too many times, but their website FAQs are incredibly comprehensive.
If you can do something really quickly in Excel, that's probably better. However, if your dataset is large and it will slow down Excel, Alteryx is a great alternative. It's also really good for some of the functions that you may be less familiar with in Excel (for e.g. if someone doesn't know how to do conditionally summing, etc.) -- learning how to do this on Alteryx is more intuitive and faster than learning on Excel.
