Overall Satisfaction with Amazon Cloud Drive
We use it for a our file/document sharing system, used across the entire company. Allows for access, independent of a lot of clunky systems and at reduced hardware costs. Has a high availability which is important when replacing our local storage devices.
- Affordable
- Good availability
- Speed. At times, does seem to have a throttling affect and can be slower. Especially on the upload side of things.
- Notifications/alert of issues. Not really quick, or informative.
- Positive- allows us to save money on hardware maintenance, as local storage is very expensive (NAS/SAN, etc) Allows us to maintain a good availability of data.
It was a brand that I knew of, and pricing was attractive. Many of our other vendors use Amazon, so that gives us a greater comfort level.
