Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Anaplan for Territory & Quota Planning , Workforce Planning , ICM and Sales Performance management use cases. Additionally platform is also used for Financial Planning and Analysis use cases.

Pros and Cons

Anaplan provides the flexibility to model any business use case.
Platform has a very intuitive UX which allows great end user adoption.
Configured model can very easily modified to accommodate changed business scenarios.

Anaplan modelling has size restrictions which sometimes makes it very difficult to create reports by intersecting multiple dimensionality.
Anaplan should provide better starter models for some of the most common use cases so that the implementation does not require creating everything from scratch.
Anaplan should provide some built in algorithms to make the platform more relevant for Supply Chain Planning use cases.

Return on Investment

Anaplan enabled more than 2000 users to do territory & quota planning and was flexible enough to accommodate changing sales hierarchy without much background changes.

Anaplan UX is very intuitive which drives greater end user adoption. Additionally Anaplan also provided embedded AI/ML capabilities which can be utilised for modelling a wide variety of use cases.
