Anaplan is an amazing tool for Actual Reporting, Forecasting Planning, & What-If scenario predictions. The calculation engine allows for a unified source of truth across the business that updates real time as well as the ability to integrate with other downstream/upstream systems. Anaplan should generally not be used as a "data repository" or "data warehouse"... its value comes from the calculation engine & not necessarily its data storage capabilities.
