Overall Satisfaction with Apptio Cloudability
Cost is one of the critical factors when we migrate our Applications to the Cloud and expand the business. Cloudability helps us provide insights on how we are spending in the Cloud and provides multiple dashboards to help us understand the spending trending over a period of time, by Cloud resources, by Departments, etc. It also provides information on how Reserve instances or Savings plans are utilized in our Org. I like the automated reports that tell me how much I have been spending since last week on the hosting cost, and oftentimes, this helps me realize that you might have an orphaned resource running in the cloud when you should have deleted it. The recommendation in terms of resource utilization and how we can optimize the usage is a great deal. As more and more products are launched and more employees start to operate in the Cloud, it is difficult to control the cost without having a way to tell us - where we are spending the most and how and then providing recommendations. Cloudability provides that for us, and that is a big win when were are talking about $$$.
