Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Apptio Cloudability was used for data pulls and subsequent report creations for multiple Product lines. The data used from Cloudability was used to constantly monitor spend within our Azure Cloud structure where we have many Azure subscriptions

use of widgets for customized viewing
data filtering
overall navigation

quicker updates on data (currently there is approx a 48hr latency in data updates)
filtering for exactly what you want to view can be a bit less cumbersome

provided more accurate data than previous tools
customization of widgets allowed for more precise data charts

It is a powerful tool that allowed me to download xmls which then led me to create pivot tables to format the data. Filtering gave me exact details of what i was looking for in terms of creating reports.
