Overall Satisfaction with Apptio Cloudability

We use it to manage our billing of our cloud resources, including Azure in multiple tenants throughout our organization.
  • Allows specifics on what our billing breaks down to
  • Gives us a centralized clearinghouse for multiple tenants across different organizations
  • Provides an easy to read detailed summary
  • I feel like some of the documentation on setting up the service may be helpful
  • It's allowed us to know where our money is being spent that could be lost in the shuffle of hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in spending.
With the work I've done on it the interface is simple and easy to use. Setting it up was a bit harder, only because I had to hunt for some reference documentation a bit more than I would for other products or native microsoft systems

I've only specifically used it in relation to the Azure billing, so I can only speak to that. The service works very well in there, and is capable or providing insight that would either take a lot of time to manually search for with relation to that billing, or provides insight on items that are opaque to us even as administrators.
