Cons
- Reporting is a pain, and the newer bi functionality is lacking in features. Spawning to power bi or tableau would be a dream feature.
- Some features in the bill of it seem to lack use cases for the way customers would want to use it.
Modeling and ingestion of data are key and the most important functionality ApptioOne has to offer. Budget and forecasting are so often controlled at a higher level in an organization through a specific tool that the finance department owns and operates. ApptioOne should be focusing on using trend data to predict forecasting and budgeting based on lifecycle and contract end dates and interface to corporate budgeting systems.
