We needed a cloud based documentation system that was easy to use and could collect the necessary outcomes we needed for funders. This is now used for all of our nurses and it helps to have the documentation in real time in place for outcomes.
- Easy of use for the end user
- Reports that can made and customizable
- Training for the administrator excellent
- End user training was not good, more needs to be done to make it simple for those who need to use it
- Improvement reports are not easy to put together, requires tech support
- Report writing requires skills and needs to have more tech support
- Able now to pull in real time statistics in our care
- Able in real time to see the work that the nurses are doing on documentation
- Able to use the statistics to get more funders
This has not been a benefit for our organization, it does help our end users in putting the necessary data in to show program delivery but it does not help with scale. They are not able to see more clients but are able to see the changes that clients are making in their health through the stats in the documentation.
It has helped us secure funding from grantors who want to see specific outcomes which can be placed in reports in the system.
We choose Apricot because of its adaptability and customization. Our work is unique and other systems did not have the ability to capture what we needed in reports or documentation. We looked at home health documentation systems but they did not have the ability to customize to our work. Apricot is good start for us in cloud based documentation.
