Overall Satisfaction with Articulate

Articulate Studio is simple to use and provides great, professional-looking e-learning courses! All you need is a background in using MS PowerPoint and Articulate provides the template. It's simple to learn, simple to use and doesn't require a graphics or programming background, which is key to getting things done quickly. Articulate has developed Studio 13 for those users who don't have the time or ability to develop in-depth e-learning but who still want professional results.

While Articulate's Storyline takes e-learning to the next level, Studio 13 is a great product if you're on a budget, in terms of dollars and time!
  • Articulate uses templates to create interactions.
  • Articulate leverages common expertise by plugging into PowerPoint.
  • Articulate has an amazing user community that makes support a strength and a key consideration when purchasing.
  • Some Articulate interactions have a limited palette of colours. If you want to customize to a corporate colour wheel, you may be out of luck
  • The default font is Articulate's own, which is not an industry standard.
  • Ability to turn content into e-learning much more quickly.
  • Some difficulty in integrating to a very rigid and locked down network - some firewall considerations to overcome.
  • Easy to use, so that Subject Matter Experts can create their own e-learning modules.
Compared Articulate to Captivate, Camtasia, and other more robust tools. Because of ease of use, Articulate Studio comes out on top. Price is a big consideration as well!
Already on our second purchase, and have also purchased Storyline for select members of our team. Easy to use, and once we got past the firewall issues, easy to install.
Articulate is easy to use with existing PowerPoint slides, so you can take existing work and create e-learning.
