Overall Satisfaction with Articulate Studio
Articulate Studio is used for rapid deployment of eLearning content in my organization. It is primarily utilized by our eLearning department. The area the software really excels in is its ability to plug into PowerPoint with seamless integration. Most users of PowerPoint will be easily able to step right in. Eliminating the learning curve experienced with a lot of other eLearning Authoring Software.
- Fast eLearning turn around time.
- Eliminates a lot of the need to learn complicated eLearning authoring tools
- Great interactions and templates built right into the suite.
- It would be nice if Replay came included in this package for screen recording insertion.
- More templates and interactions.
- Integration with open source presentation software (OpenOffice, LibreOffice)
- POSITIVE: Drastically reduces time to learning
- POSITIVE: Reduces development of fairly simple information learning
- NEGATIVE: Have had to upgrade due to compatibility issues with Powerpoint 2010/2013/2016
Wondershare is the only other comparable piece of Learning authoring that I have used and it did not measure up in terms of the amount of options that are available for configuration. Wondershare had 2 or 3 things that it did very well, whereas Articulate Studio did all of those same things and more. In the powerpoint plugin eLearning space, Articulate Studio is King.

3 - I would consider 3 of the people, myself included, to be 'experts' in the software. Becoming truly proficient means having a great imagination and being well versed in media and media editing tools as well as web design and some User Experience design as well. One must wear many hats to produce quality eLearning.

We decided to purchase Articulate Studio after taking a training course on the software and seeing how easy it is to use. From the training, our minds were racing with all of the different ways the software could be utilized in our environment. We have used it for way finding and gamification as well as traditional learning.
I would make sure that I had the newest version of PowerPoint so that I wouldn't have any compatibility issues with the software and need to upgrade either license (in PowerPoint / Microsoft Office or Articulate Studio) to ensure compatibility.

I had completed a product and it would not play in our Learning management system I contacted support after a great deal of troubleshooting and they expertly suggested that it was an issue with the MIME types in our Learning Management System. I forwarded that off to our server guys and the issue was resolved.
