Overall Satisfaction with Asana

We use Asana as a project management tool by non-developers at our company. It helps everyone stay on the page, which is sometimes challenging as a fully remote organization. We also use Asana to manage feature and product launches, our content calendar, and as a backlog of ideas.
  • Assigning tasks to other users is easy.
  • Nice UI.
  • Linking projects together saves time and keeps things organized.
  • Should be able to make custom date properties to better manage a typical content production workflow.
  • Should be able to copy and paste subtasks and retain hierarchy.
  • Need an "undo" shortcut to undo the last action(s) performed.
  • Being able to invite contractors to collaborate and limiting what projects everyone has access to.
  • Seeing milestones/dates on a calendar view.
  • Increased efficiency.

Do you think Asana delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Asana's feature set?

Yes

Did Asana live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Asana go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Asana again?

Yes

Asana works well for keeping teams on task an on the same page, but it's easy to fall into the trap of working outside Asana in other tools (like spreadsheets) and then having to duplicate in Asana. This is more of a business process challenge, but it's a result of Asana not quite being able to do everything that we need.
