Overall Satisfaction with Asana
We use Asana to manage projects by outlining tasks, separating responsibilities, tracking conversations, and keeping attachments and assets localized to single tasks. We were looking to replace email as the standard mechanism to collaborate as a team and needed something that helps with work distribution and traceability. Asana fit well into what we were looking for and found it saved us time.

- It ensures conversations and assets are compartmentalized to a single task
- Clutter - the UI is cluttered and there are too many things happening at once. Trim some of the digital fat to make using Asana a lighter, more pleasant experience
- Allow for users to select which notifications to receive vs. which do not. Use usage statistics to develop an individualized notification algorithm specific to each user.
- Develop native time tracking functionality. Working with 3rd party integrations just adds an unnecessary layer that makes the user experience more complex without reaping any significant rewards.
- Cost - it's definitely affordable and its free tier is packed with features
- Task distribution and tracking for projects
- The activity tab is excellent to keep track of what's happening at any given time without diving into each individual project or task
- It reduced the time we needed to find conversations in email, look at due dates and locate files for a specific project or purpose. We're estimating a 30% reduction in the time necessary for searching and locating conversations via email.
- We're using the free tier now, so our costs were $0, to begin with. As our team and requirements grow, the next tier up feels packed with features and affordable.
