Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR

Everyone in customer service is extremely personable and wants to help, but many times you do not get full answers to your questions. They think they are giving you everything, and then you run into issues after they have told you how to set up the system. Frustrating. I believe they have a small staff and sometimes they are impossible to reach. The exception is the TMS staff. They are always responsive and really understand the product.
Ascentis is being used by the entire corporation.
  • Ascentis allows us to use the TMS system to do medical competencies
  • TMS customer service is very supportive
  • Pays accurately
  • Needs to be completely Web Based
  • Need single sign on
  • HR and Payroll need to be completely integrated
  • Reporting needs to be more robust.
  • May answers that you get from Ascentic are not full answers and points you in the wrong directions
  • it has been a lot more work than expected, and having a non integrated system is very difficult.
Personally, I have used Peoplesoft, UltiPro, SAP. I did not choose Ascentis HR, and when put up against the previously mentioned it does not stack up.
As stated previously, The TMS support has been wonderful
Cannot stress more that an integrated system is needed. They are working toward getting information on the web, but right now it is necessary to sign on to their platform to use the system. Sign on to payroll separately. Movement between HR and payroll is not always what is expected. Very bulky. Ascentis also does not have the bells and whistles that other HR/Payroll systems have.
