Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR

Not as responsive as I'd like, but not terrible.
We use it primarily for vacation requests for the whole organization.
  • It works great for time off requests and approvals.
  • It helps our managers quickly look up employee details, such as pay rate, hire date, etc.
  • Allows employees to easily and quickly view their available accrued time off.
  • Make it easier to include part-time employees with different vacation accrual rates to be added to the system.
  • Support needs to be a little more responsive and helpful to questions.
  • It's had a positive impact on employees being able to quickly and easily view their time off and to make vacation requests. This has saved time for our HR manager.
I'd say the support was good when they transitioned from a local host solution to a remote host solution. In other words, when Ascentis HR changed to hosting their programs on their own servers, which we access remotely.
It's well suited for managing time off requests and for managers to view employee information. For our purposes, we don't need it for payroll or some of the other functions.
