Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR
Ascentis is used as our HRIS. It is used across the entire organization. It is used for onboarding all employees, benefits administration, timekeeping, and recruiting. It is supposed to be used for performance but the product is not great.
Pros
- There are a variety of really great reports that we can pull. The ability to create custom reports is also a plus.
Cons
- The performance management system needs a lot of work. We've encountered so many different issues that we didn't use it for two review periods which cost us a lot of time.
- The ATS tracking system is not the greatest. It is especially difficult uploading or updating the documents needed after an applicant has been hired.
- It's taken away time from business objectives because we've done a lot of manual entry. We attempted to get training and our account manager did not help at all. We got a new one and received the same poor service only to get a replacement in a short amount of time. We've had 3 account managers in the last year.
- ADP, Payville and Oracle PeopleSoft HCM
I wasn't involved in the decision to pick Ascentis HR. We inherited the system.
