Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

We use Atlassian Confluence for knowledge management. If a developer is working on a feature and wants to share the technical details or non-technical details about that feature he can create a confluence page for that so that other stack holders can go there to understand the work. Also, let's say I am another developer who made some changes to the existing feature then I can go and edit the page with the latest information. If I am new and want to understand a particular feature, I can search for it on Atlassian Confluence. So it helps to gain knowledge about the product functionalities and get an idea of the logic when working with the legacy code.
  • Searching a topic
  • Indexing of the topics
  • Way we write, adding images, links, etc.
  • Can it be integrated with MS Teams ? as we use MS Teams for day-to-day work-related communications.
  • Can it automatically generate initial document for a feature with AI capabilities?
  • Can we get text completion feature ?
  • Dedicated indexing of topics for R&D team
  • Advanced search option
  • Tags to find topics
  • Without Atlassian Confluence it is difficult to maintain a knowledgebase.
  • Easy to get understanding of the feature for all stack holders
  • We can ask questions related to content if we have any.
The way the knowledge is stored and indexed in Atlassian Confluence is very advanced so that it can be easily accessed. It supports including images, links, etc so that we can convey the idea very well. Overall it's very useful for organizations where new features are rolled out with high frequency and features are very complex and need some written content about it to get the grasp.

Do you think Atlassian Confluence delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Atlassian Confluence's feature set?

Yes

Did Atlassian Confluence live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Atlassian Confluence go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Atlassian Confluence again?

Yes

It is kind of a knowledge hub so easy access to product-related docs, helps all the stack holders to immediately get an idea about the particular product feature. It supports adding links, images, code snippets, etc. So that we can write the content in detail. Sometimes it feels boring to write the content because developers have to spend a lot of time already doing coding So advanced writing features like AI-enabled text completion, and text suggestion should be there to help the writers.
