Auth0 provides social media login and passwordless authentication to custom developed products withint the organization. Auth0 addresses several issues including (1) a single source for managing multiple social media logins and (2) a trusted third party to provide authentication codes via SMS and email for access to products.

During the proof of concept, the time required to integration Auth0 was substantially less than other products evaluated. While all products met the proof of concept requirements, Auth0 documentation and sales support provided an edge when selecting a product.

All business functions within the organization utilize Auth0 as Auth0 is the authentication software used for all users and customers to access web-based applications.
1 - Minimal skills are needed to support Auth0. Auth0 support has been very helpful in assisting with any issues. Currently, a DevOps engineer supports Auth0. However, the DevOps engineer is primarily working on new application configurations in Auth0. Once configured correctly, Auth0 has been very stable so no dedicated support in-house has been required.
