Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

We use Avalara to generate sales tax liability reports and tax-exempt customer certificates.
  • Generate sales tax liability reports for each state
  • Let us know when we have reached nexus for filing in a new state
  • Certcapture - customer sales tax exempt forms
  • Integrates with our ERP (Navision) to generate correct sales tax on customer invoices
  • Responding to questions more timely (email and/or phone call)

After initial setup and integration, usability is good - provided no questions or issues are present.

Avalara offers more in terms of liability reports and integrating with our ERP system
Overall, Avalara is working well for us; however, when we have an issue or question, we are basically on our own to figure it out.

Near impossible to get someone on phone call, takes a long time to get email reply - if ever and then questions/issues not answered or addressed. We stopped reaching out
