Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
We use Avalara to track sales and sales tax exemptions for our wholesale distribution company that has been rapidly expanding geographically to become almost nationwide. We have more recently began using AvaTax and managed returns for our e-commerce direct to consumer branch. Avalara has also been highly involved in registration and setup for collecting and filing Canadian GST/HST with a Canadian expansion in 2022.
Avalara has consistently provided a starting point for information on when and where to register, as well as addressing any individual state tax notices.

All these services have allowed sales tax reconciliation and compliance to be a one person job each month. This involves filing 25-30 different returns each period across all our branches.
