Overall Satisfaction with Avalara AvaTax

Infinite Consulting Services is a regional provider of IT services and a value added reseller. We use AvaTax to calculate sales tax in QuickBooks for our invoices and for remittance of sales tax to the state.
  • Avalara AvaTax does address validation and accurate sales tax calculations and integrates with QuickBooks.
  • The integration with QuickBooks needs a little bit of work, as I often get multiple queries for the same transaction.
  • My sales tax return now takes just a few minutes for me to review and approve the return. Everything is done for me.

Easy to achieve, but there is a little bit of work that needs to be done as it is costing me a lot extra due to multiple queries for each transaction.
Avalara AvaTax sits in the background and does what it needs to do. It is simple to use.
The only other feature that I can think of is address validation. This doesn't really provide me any benefit other than accurate sales tax calculation.
