Overall Satisfaction with AWS Storage Gateway

AWS Storage Gateway is used across the whole organization for specific projects, it let us offer a simple storage solution to our customers through a site to site VPN. With AWS Storage Gateway we provide storage devices to our customers so they can upload/download files to/from AWS using an NFS client on their side.

Most of our workloads are hosted in AWS so we wanted to use a service that was easily integrated with our existing services. We selected AWS Storage Gateway as it provided us with a lot of features that eventually were very beneficial for us and our customers. AWS Storage Gateway lets us provide our customers with an easy to set up and use storage service where they can upload all the information needed by the analytics projects and download the processed information those projects return.
AWS Storage Gateway is supported by the AWS Support team, they provide excellent support and great SLAs for our needs.

AWS Storage Gateway suits for connecting on-premises infrastructure with storage services in AWS, in provides standard storage protocols so it's very easy to set up and use. It can be used also as a backup facility for local data with S3 or Glacier as storage backend services. AWS Storage Gateway is also secure as it encrypts data in transit.
