Overall Satisfaction with Barracuda Forensics and Incident Response

The Barracuda Forensics and Incident Response system is being used across our entire organization. Upon being notified by the Barracuda Sentinel of a possible email phishing attack or account takeover, the Forensics and Incident Response allows us to review the incident and then take appropriate action. We are also able to flag the issue as a 'false positive', if needed.

  • Quickly review phishing email attacks
  • Allows flagging of false positives
  • Quickly setup a remediation to delete any emails and continue monitoring
  • Ability to notify user or not notify user of attacks

Cons

  • Ability to allow 'continuous remediation' to last longer
  • More search fields
  • Had a phishing attack to 16 people - remediated in less than 10 minutes

The Barracuda Forensics and Incident Response is best suited as an addition to the Barracuda Sentinel. After Barracuda Sentinel discovers a phishing email or account takeover, the Barracuda Forensics and Incident Response allows you to quickly dive into the details of the email(s) to determine if the email is legitimate or not. It does a very good job finding and deleting any and all emails related to the attack.
