Overall Satisfaction with BetterCloud
BetterCloud is being used in our IT department. We use it to manage calendars, emails, etc that users cannot get into due to employees retiring or leaving their positions.
- BetterCloud does a really great audit with groups for any that are "open join". This way we can manage them and make sure the settings are appropriate for that group.
- App violations are huge right now due to the use of Chromebooks in our district for our students. BetterCloud sends us a list of unresolved apps so that we can manage them.
- Email delegations are a breeze with BetterCloud. There is no wait for approval from the user.
- Apps and extensions are a bit confusing in BetterCloud. Sometimes I try to block them and there is more than one of the same name.
- I wish that we could add device management for Chromebooks on the program.
- BetterCloud has heavily decreased our time searching for which employee or user owns a specific calendar.
- Our teachers and staff are happier because we can get emails delegated faster.
Google is great, however, BetterCloud is able to go into the backend of Google which helps us out tremendously. Permissions with BetterCloud exceeds the application it is being used for which is amazing. BetterCloud's GUI is very easy to navigate, however, I feel it could be better like Google's.
