Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
BigCommerce is being used as our e-commerce shopping cart and website. For us it combined the right amount of design flexibility with back end resources and features. We can easily add new products and deal with customer service issues and questions right from the account. We have good access to customers' profiles which make placing orders or making changes on behalf of the customer a breeze.

- I believe BigCommerce has allowed us to streamline some operations versus our previous solution
I believe BigCommerce would allow us to scale our current model but some of the reliance on third-party integrations for some desired features is a cause for concern if we would grow much bigger. One kink in integration can throw off everything when you are relying on the integration for some core abilities like saving credit card information.
The APIs are crucial for BigCommerce as it has allowed us to build out the website and features we desire.
I think at the moment I would recommend it for businesses looking for a solid platform to host their e-commerce site on. It has great features to manage customers' accounts and orders. If the subscription of products is in the future, I would avoid the service since it doesn't currently offer that. I wish it would but you will have to resort to costly third-party vendors which may not always be the most reliable.
