Ease of use is good.
Excellent SLA and uptime.
Excellent for customer service oriented retail business.

Coupon code functions are limited.
Like other eCommerce platforms, they rely heavily on 3rd party integrations.

Return on Investment

BigCommerce, unlike the Magento free version, is a hosted solution. No need for a web/IT dept, and you can do it from your living room worry free!

BigCommerce can be used in its native, out of the box solution, or it can also be used as a headless implementation.

The biggest use we get out of the APIs is our AI learning to assist customers in finding the products they want.

Volusion, Magento Open Source, Magento Commerce Cloud (formerly Magento), Shopify, Weebly and WooCommerce

BigCommerce is by far the easiest, most secure, and most worry-free of the competition. It falls a little short to Magento in the coupon code area, and Shopify has more out of the box gimmicks, but, in the end, they all fall short compared to BigCommerce.

Likelihood to Recommend

BigCommerce is an excellent retail platform, however, it might not be the best for a services (not retail) oriented company.
