Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We use BigCommerce for our e-commerce store. It forms an integral part of our business, as our longer-term plans are to use our BigCommerce listings to launch on new marketplaces. BigCommerce is currently used by our sales, marketing and customer service teams.
- Simple and easy to use interface - easy to set up products, configure a store and use, whether novice or expert.
- Unlimited functionality - you can either use a basic template and stick with that or customise it as much as required. Plenty of shipping and payment options connect with it.
- App store made easier to refine. There seems to be a lot of apps there when you know the names to search for, but some of the filters are a bit limited.
- Attracted more site visitors.
- Increased sales.

We integrate with a number of review tools, which help boost the credibility of the business and convert sales. We are looking at product listing tools to push our BigCommerce product listings out to other channels. We've also integrated shipping tools to streamline the process.
BigCommerce is a much more user friendly, manageable and cost-effective tool than Magento, which we previously used. We struggled to find a decent Magento developer and it was an extremely expensive platform which we didn't really need. Shopify for us was limited with our growth expectancy, and would not serve us well long term. Wix is for small blog type sites and the shopping functionality is very basic - this is not suitable for a growing e-commerce buisness. Word Press is comparable in terms of features and functionality, but BigCommerce certainly has the edge. I have not used WordPress for e-commerce, so I cannot comment on this side of their platform.
