Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

We use BC for multiple stores—from basic for online catalog listing only (no prices), startup stores and pro stores. It handles product options exceptionally well, good for configuring various systems. Customers require the ability to select their equipment options and accessories.

Great for larger stores, but limited customization options and poor credit card processing would make me start small stores elsewhere.
We use a few, but most apps are subscription only, per storefront. Far more expensive than Shopify.
Amazon is great for high margin or high volume B2C business, expensive to use, not for what we do.
Shopify is a good alternative, but won't handle the variations we use. May switch in the future.
Custom websites (WooCommerce, Magento, etc.) are too difficult to maintain for our small business.
Same pricing as Shopify, but a bit more limited/expensive for customization, but handles product variations much better. Great for broad product range or equipment with multiple variations.
