Use Cases and Deployment Scope

GravityZone is used throughout my organization. We utilize this product for antivirus on all endpoints and servers. In addition to the AV, GravityZone offers sandboxing of suspicious files, ransomware protection, vulnerability scanning and hardening. Bitdefender continues to perform well in our environment.

We have thus far stayed virus free.
USB drives are blocked and only approved USB drives can be accessed.

Alternatives Considered

Since we haven't had any outbreaks, I would say it is very effective as prevention. When we used Vipre, we became infected.

Support Rating

Support is an area Bitdefender has always struggled with. While their products work great, the GravityZone dashboard is very technical in nature. If you aren't IT inclined, it could be difficult to setup. While most times support is helpful, we tend to work with them over email because of their very thick accent, they are hard to understand over the phone.

Bitdefender is one of the best, probably the best, AV product currently on the market. I've used Viper for business and was infected with a virus. I've tested Fortinet Endpoint Protection, but remained a GravityZone customer. Overall, if you get this and deploy it, you can't go wrong. Their AI engine is first class and cutting edge.
