Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a managed service provider. We used to use Kaspersky but made the switch to Bitdefender [GravityZone]. It is a night and day comparison between the two. No more false positives no more bogged down CPUs, it just works. As a tech, I save so much time not having to look into reported threats that are not really threats. Bitdefender [GravityZone] is great.

Pros and Cons

Catching threats before they can replicate and ruin
Runs silently without bogging down system resources
Works well on Mac and Windows
Very easy to make changes across entire organizations
Antivirus and Anti-malware protection in one product

The redesigned web console is hard to navigate.
Support is not the best, sometimes slow to respond.
The full installer package is rather large.

Return on Investment

As a tech, I spend much less time remediating issues with Bitdefender [GravityZone] when compared to how much time I used to spend doing this with Kaspersky.
The price point to entry is not very high so you should see a good return on investment rather quickly.
Being able to make large-scale antivirus policy changes across entire companies very quickly saves time and money.

Alternatives Considered

Kaspersky Endpoint Security

Very effective. If we would've stayed with Kaspersky, we would've gotten infected by ransomware.

Support Rating

Bitdefender [GravityZone] support is the one place where it does lack. Responses are sometimes slow and support is only really available by email. On the plus side, we rarely need support, but when we do it would be nice if we could make a call.

It runs silently and doesn't kill your system resources. It catches every single threat thrown its way. We sleep better at night knowing that Bitdefender [GravityZone] is keeping us and our clients safe.

Bitdefender GravityZone is hands down the best protection you can get.
