Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Education Management Solutions

The system is used througout the whole organization.
  • Organize student records.
  • Basic CRM capability.
  • Portal for students, parents, faculty and staff.
  • In depth reporting capabilities.
  • Creating reports can be difficult beyond basic reports.
  • Making automation easier - i.e. sending communications.
  • Helps with organization of student records.
  • Helps with basic recruitment efforts.
  • Need IT department for more advanced reports-which does not help if your IT dept does not assist admission recruitment.
The support is basically good. But, only through chat (you really can't call someone) and if the system does not already offer what you are trying to do you have to either wait until it is created or you can't complete your task. In addition, it is hard to create advance reports when you are not trained and though the support can help you it can still be very complicated.
Works great for a small admission office. You will need help though if you are looking to do more in depth reporting without the help of an IT department. The Advanced reports are very complecated to figure out on your own and you feel like you need an computer science degree to create reports.
