Blackbaud Education Management is used to enroll students, manage their schedules, grades, sports and extracurricular activities, and other information, as well as: communicate with students, parents and the broader constituency. It also tracks alumni and provides data for fundraising.

Blackbaud has helped us communicate essential information within the school among staff members, as well as communicate to students and parents. It has improved our ability to upload data to curriculum and testing companies, but there is some way to go yet in terms of automation. Over all, it has performed well.
Our office uses all of these products and it [is] especially helpful for our development director to have Raiser's Edge NXT. Additionally, student enrollment is in part limited by up-to-date billing information. So, if parents are reasonably behind in tuition, we are able to restrict attendance and communicate this effectively to the relevant section of the school.
