Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Blackbaud eTapestry to help create appeal letters to be emailed out to contacts. The product is useful for cataloging information and providing analytics.

Managing our contacts has been helpful. Example, if myself or a colleague meets with a contact we can record the particulars of that meeting and draw on it to build an account of our relationship with them.

Etapestry has not been well suited for creating appeal letters or emails. The design work generally needs to be done outside of the program then a lot of time gets spent trying to make that fit into a pre-existing template, or rejigging the design to suit the limited design capacity of Etapestry.
