Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Education Management Solutions

We are using the On products throughout our organization. They provide continuity and a streamlined approach to all our functions.

  • The On products allow us to customize nearly every aspect of the product which allows flexibility for our faculty and staff.
  • Because we use the On products throughout our organization, we do not waste time transitioning across products or have to worry about if our data is correct.
  • Because the On products have a parent component, when a family begins the admissions process in OnBoard, their experience when they transition to the school has the same look, feel and functionality. The products provide for a seamless transition so we do not lose any communication time with families.
  • We need accurate reporting and Blackbaud has been very responsive in building a platform that helps us drill down the data we most need.
  • We are constantly looking for ways that the On products can improve our systems and functionality. There are so many facets that can fit what we do that it just takes the time to map out our systems and determine how each On product can adapt to that system or we adapt to the options available.
  • Our families like the ability to "self-serve" in the admissions process. Our online admissions process allows them to complete the online application, upload necessary documents and register for required events all from one screen.

We have achieved these outcomes and continue to improve every week and month as we integrate multiple functionalities into our processes.
We have certainly benefitted from the integration with Raiser's Edge and eventually with NXT. Using one system decreases the training for staff and allows seamless connections navigating between the systems. We look forward to future enhancements.
Blackbaud provides multiple opportunities for support including online knowledge base, chat and training.
Our school constantly evaluates products that can integrate with Blackbaud. We have been using Magnus for several years and it is a positive solution for our families and our staff.
We are able to customize most functions of Enrollment Management. This allows us to provide a personal experience for families based on our school's mission and culture.
The Student Information system is comprehensive and a seamless transition from admissions candidate to student to alumni. Customizing to our programs and ease of training for teachers are two benefits. While the initial set up can feel complex, the management and updating are become easier each year especially with the consistent enhancements that Blackbaud implements based on customer feedback.
On Message allows flexibility and ease for creating and maintaining the front end of our website. We also use push page for nearly all parent communication.
Blackbaud On products are well suited for the school that wants to integrate all systems into one platform. While it might take time for the transition, it is well worth the effort. With the customization of the products and the "self-serve" functionality in which schools have control of the customization, options are endless. Schools that do not have a "growth-mindset" may be resistant to jump in to a total solution.
