Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
All fundraising activities are tracked here. We use both the WebView and the database view as the WebView still does not have full functionality.
The WebView is great for our fundraisers. It is easier to look at and more intuitive than the database view. There is some fun functionality like seeing a map where all your constituents (or a certain list of constituents) are. Donations can be taken on the road.
One of the greatest limitations is the lists (known as queries in the database view). If you need a simple list it is great and very easy to generate from various areas (ie who opened an email just click on the number and it will give you the list). If you need a more complicated list it is easier to do in the database view and bring it over to the WebView.
Reporting does not meet our needs yet. We do extensive year over year comparisons and have been using Crystal Reports for this. So the cutting off of Crystal Reports was a big hit with very little notice (I believe it was something like 6 weeks at year end). That was very disappointing.
