Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

It is our development and alumni office's CRM. We use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for front-end fundraisers to view quick donor info on a desktop or mobile device. We use the Gmail-NXT integration to directly add emails as actions on constituent records. Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is just for "light" activities. We utilize the classic database (RE7) for daily gift entry and robust queries, exports, and report functionality.
  • Mobile friendly
  • Integration with Gmail
  • Web-friendly view of individual records, including a photo
  • Workflow design/action tracks are clunky compared to something like Salesloft product
  • More personalization for gift officers to be able to view and work with their portfolios based on key filters/sort features
  • Mobile-friendly
  • I love the "map a list" feature, to plan visits and events out of town
  • Ease of reconciling with Business Office - we started Raiser's Edge mapping to Financial Edge
The analytics are "ok" -- we still use iWave for more insights and to be able to dig deeper into the prospect research data (real estate info, donations to other orgs, foundation info, etc.)
It works well for an overview. Ultimately, we need to figure out how to adapt and fit our department's needs.

Do you think Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT's feature set?

Yes

Did Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT again?

Yes

We are still using the RE7 classic database for most data administration functions. I don't see Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT ever being the primary tool for data admins. However, I think it could be a front-line fundraiser/relationship manager's primary tool with some improvements.
