Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is our Database of Record and we also use Financial Edge. Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT helps us manage our Annual giving donors, our Members, and Event participants. We use Online Express to collect donations, memberships, and event fees. RE is our hub of data activity and it simplifies our data entry as well as integrates with our Finance side.

We use the analytics from Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, the giving history of each donor and/or prospect, and other Blackbaud services to build meaningful and actionable lists. We then create workflows to go with different stewardship tracks and donor engagement opportunities. We also create dashboards to display and plot progress towards department goals.

We have a mix of both direct mail and online donor base and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/Raiser's Edge NXT provides the right-size product to manage all of the different channels and the processes involved in managing them. The canned reporting is also very helpful when creating outputs for other applications and/or third-party vendors that we use.

Even as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT can collect Event registration fees and participant selections, it lacks the back-end query and reporting for relevant outputs. It is a very similar case with the Volunteer module. The Prospect module is actually another module with some basic features and legacy functionality that has not been updated for a while making it very hard to use in a meaningful manner.
