Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
We use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for gift entry and donor/prospect management. We reconcile monthly with finance to ensure our fundraising totals tie out with the accounting side.
Pros

- Ability to work in multiple views based on preference.
Cons
- Need for things to carry over consistently between web and database view.
- Better communication regarding outages or down-time.
- Reliability.
- Ability for all to work in simultaneously.
- Continuous data refreshing.
- Ability to catch lapsing donors.
- Reporting on potential major donors.
- Weekly reports to check for data accuracy.
We are able to continuously review our donor database and adjust portfolios as needed. There are also a number of reports to "catch" donors who are lapsing or are in danger of falling out of sight. Through action tracking, fundraisers are able to enter daily activity. This is useful for all members of the team (and can be utilized in the future). We also track grant proposals in the prospect tab and this helps with data entry and goal planning.
