Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge helps our organization track incoming donations, pledges, and capture information related to donors and volunteers. We use Raiser's Edge to capture important information such as giving history, relationships, and meeting notes. We have thousands of donors and volunteers with our organization, meaning we have A LOT of data to capture. Raiser's Edge is built to capture this information in an organized and logical manner.

Raiser's Edge allows our organization to pull reports to get a great overall picture of fundraising numbers and demographics throughout the year. It is really easy to build a report that allows tracking for various needs. For example, you can pull annual numbers for monthly givers, events, and totally giving throughout the year to best understand current fundraising numbers and trends.

There are a lot of resources from Blackbaud, which is great again for new hires or users new to Raiser's Edge. Depending on how people learn best, this is a great resource with more in-depth online trainings which give a fantastic overview. The ability to go through specific modules in a way that is clear and concise, is unique to Raiser's Edge.
Raiser's Edge is built for fundraising and you can tell. It is a lot easier to use and made specifically to capture pertinent fundraising data.

Raiser's Edge is a must have for a fundraising organization. It captures fundraising and development data in an easy-to-use and easy-to-learn fashion. I recommend setting up a workflow to initiate actions for new donors, large increases etc. It captures volunteer data okay but shouldn't be exclusively used to track volunteerism.
