Overall Satisfaction with Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud

Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud will manage and provide content for the website and several apps and other systems within the company and enable site management for some functions.
  • It gives a manageable oversight of content and what it will look like once published
  • It offers a lot of flexibility in connecting with other systems
  • Though highly flexible it does mean the system can be (overly) complicated at times, but this can usually be overcome by good documentation
  • It could use a good form solution that is easy to integrate and safe to use with GDPR rules in mind without having an impact on deployments of new versions
  • In our case theBloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud implementation gives us higher uptime (so less impact for users during updates)
  • Making use of the standard functionality in stead of custom implementations makes for speedier updates for system and customer wishes
Easy and quick to respond, once support alignment is clear
Working from a very complex and large forme version we're still migrating the bulk, but the initial clean version was done in months if not weeks.
We don't make use of the AI-based algorithms and commerce platform (yet)

If you have a lot of content and need a lot of flexibility integrating with other systems it's great. If this is less it might be more complicated than needed.

Though the product needs it's tips and tricks to work with, the platform it works on is nice and uncomplicated, making release of new versions, managing and monitoring it a lot easier that the former on premise version.

  • Getting used to working with documents and trusting the right content is offered takes some getting used to

Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud Reliability

The product is very flexible and can provide multiple departments, sites and other system from one uniform input system. Scalability on the backend is also very nice
Insights as to what the backend system is doing cpu or memory wise is currently restricted to New Relic or info from their service team. More options would be appreciated. That said the service team is always looking into your performance if it falls out and ready to assist.
The performance of the system is usually no issue or bottleneck, but you do need to be aware of the implementation you place. Most performance issues are caused by own implementation, not by the backend platform and should that be the case the service team will be happy to see what can be done
