Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
BlueJeans is used as a video conference system for internal and external meetings. Primarily it is used by Project Managers onboarding new clients, as we are able to easily get connected without tool issues. Our operations team uses this tool throughout the organization for formal meetings or training events. This is especially true if we need video recording features as well.
BlueJeans has enough advantages over other video conference software that we decided to use it and continue to use it. We also use Google Hangouts in our organization and switch between both of these platforms.

- International and US-based numbers in every invite is a plus for this platform. The software we were using previously didn't have a conference bridge built in and we were using a third party conference software for audio with the other video conference software. Now we just use BlueJeans and if someone is having internet issues they just call in.
- BlueJeans integrates with Gmail and makes it easy to set up every meeting automatically with BlueJeans information. This simplifies sending out invites so you don't have to remember switching anything.
- You can set up BlueJeans to either default with the app or the browser. This makes it easier on clients when they don't have to install any software.
- There seems to be a slight ~1-second delay in the video feed. This can cause some situations where it can sound like you are talking over someone when you didn't mean to.
- Sharing your screen requires a plugin which causes a delay sometimes. If this plugin could be downloaded in the background while they install that would be ideal.
- Please bring back remote access, being able to take over someone's computer was a very nice feature and it would be good to have it back.
- BlueJeans has impacted us in that we are able to start meetings earlier because we are not dealing with technical problems. The best thing about BlueJeans is it just works, you don't have to think about it too much. Saving ~2-3 minutes in weekly meetings adds up to significant productivity.
- We are able to use the recording feature to help onboard new leaders and give them examples of how we run meetings and presentations to our clients. This has quickened our ramp time for new leaders.
We still use Google Hangouts in addition to BlueJeans, we switched to BlueJeans because Google Hangouts didn't have built-in conference bridges and there were technical problems of some of our clients trying to connect to it. GoToMeeting requires software to be installed, which can be a technical problem if the person doesn't have admin access to their computer. WebEx has joining issues if you try and go back in the initial process to say change your name, I wasn't able to actually join a meeting.
Technical problems are things we all deal with, BlueJeans we have found has the least amount of them, which leads to quicker meetings.
