Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
It is used across the whole organization. Teams that need frequent meeting setups use BlueJeans most often. The business problems it addresses are mainly interviews, meetings, calls, and recordings.
Pros
- I like the function where you can just add a BJ link from your Outlook. It makes everything easy to set up.
- You can see who is busy and who is not, which is very useful.
- You may connect from either your PC or your smartphone. Life is made easier for remote employees.
Cons
- May include a function that allows two or more users to share their screens.
- Using ID numbers to join a meeting and share a screen is sometimes confusing. Maybe something other than user ID?
- Could there be a better way to show who is the owner of the current meeting?
- More productive meetings for sure. Instead of using various different tools, we use only BJ for everything. Employees never need to learn a brand new tool when they join the company.
- There are more face-to-face conversations. People prefer to talk in meetings instead of sending a tremendous amount of emails.
BlueJeans is more professional. Compared to Skype, BJ is easily incorporated into our Outlook system. Without adding everyone as a friend, BJ allows you to easily set up a meeting with anyone in your company. However, I do recommend that BJ test out if it is possible to add an online chat function. It is often required by our company.
